​Morning Announcements (11/23/22)

Good Morning! Today is Wednesday, November 23, 2022, and here are today’s announcements:

Juniors and Seniors who are applying to join Marion’s chapter of the National Honor Society, applications are due by November 30, 2022!
The National Honor Society is holding a blood drive at Marion High School on December 2nd from 10:30 am - 3:45 pm. If you are interested in donating you can sign up and reserve a spot using the sign-up sheet outside the school store. You must be at least 16 years old (with parent/guardian consent form); 17 and up, no form is needed. Please plan to wait 15 minutes after your donation for observation. We hope to see you there!
MPACT members and Junior High Students: We need chaperones for the Junior High Holiday Dance on December 16th. Please ask your parents or guardians to volunteer. See Ms. Baker or Mrs. Deighton for more information. All volunteers must turn in a Volunteer Form and be approved before this event.
It’s hat day again!! Wear your hats on Wednesday, November 23rd and say “Hats off for Standing Up to Bullying!” Help SLS raise awareness about not being a bystander to bullying. If you see it or hear it, you can stop it by speaking up or reporting it. Students who wish to participate must buy a sticker in the MHS cafeteria before 1st hour on Wednesday, November 23rd for $1.00. No sticker means no hat privilege for the day. There is a prize for the most interesting (but appropriate) hat.

Winter Sports Photos will be on December 6th. Please see your coach for an order form and your designated time.
Attention 9-12th grade students. The Junior class is asking for your help with music selection for Prom 2023. Please check your email for a Google Form from Bonnie Kiger to submit your song requests.
