MPACT would like to thank all the students that participated in Halloween spirit week, especially those that supported by paying $1 to be in our costume contest on Thursday, Oct 31st. Thank you as well to Mrs. Krchmar and Ms. Depew for judging and being wonderful lunch ladies. The winners are:
high school-Taha E. (along with Mr. Judd) as the bailiff for Judge “Juddy” (quite a few mathematical sentences were handed out) and Rosie R. as Soulja Boy, middle school-Marshall L., Owen W., and Braden S. as Mike the milkman and his cow (cow substitutions happened during the day) and Emmalynn K. as the scarecrow. A few other characters are also pictured.
MPACT’s next big project is Thanksgiving baskets for the community. Parents and families, be sure to ask your high school or middle school student what his/her contribution is for this year! Items are due asap or the week before Thanksgiving at the latest. MPACT has been doing this project for 23 years for a total of 253 baskets provided to families. Thanks for helping the tradition continue with your generosity!

Tonight's football playoff game will be played in Onekama starting at 7:00. Tickets must be purchased on line or at the gate with a card. Cash or passes will not be accepted. Let's go Eagles! https://gofan.co/app/school/MI10350

Parents, please follow Marion Elementary's safety protocol for drop-off and pick-up. The safety of our students is our top priority. We ask that parents avoid parking on the street and that walkers do not arrive before 7:50 a.m., as there is no supervision before that time. Also, please slow down at our crosswalk. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe!

As the Cross Country season comes to a close, we say good bye to two outstanding individuals this year: Parker Sosa-Kibby and Donna Mills. They had this to say about their Marion Cross Country experience.
Parker: Cross country to me is about the community and growth built from the people. Community is what brought me into the sport and let me find lifelong friendships. The growth allowed me to keep going and working towards hard goals. It also allowed me to grow not only as an athlete but also as a person.
Donna: Throughout my high school years, cross country was more than just a sport; it was a transformative experience that significantly contributed to my happiness and personal development. It created a sense of camaraderie, encouraged a healthy lifestyle, and provided opportunities for personal achievement that made my time in high school enjoyable and fulfilling.
